1. Taxi driver

You hold the taxi driver professional card and you’re looking for a small company where people know your first name and the rota is a conversation. You will handle local rides, approved medical transport and long-distance transfers along the Luxembourg – Metz – Nancy corridor.

What we look for: punctuality, a service mindset, discretion, and the ease needed to look after elderly or frail passengers.

2. School escort driver

You drive and accompany pupils, sometimes pupils with disabilities, between home and school across departments 54, 55 and 57. The hours are concentrated at either end of the day, which suits part-time work or a second activity.

What we look for: patience, absolute reliability on timings, and genuine ease with children and their families.

3. Train as a taxi driver

You aren’t in the trade yet but the idea appeals. The route runs through the professional competence examination, then the issue of the professional card by the prefecture once the fitness and good-standing conditions are verified.

We support candidates through that process, and we’ll tell you frankly what the job involves (the unsocial hours, the relationship with patients, the economic reality) before you commit time and money to it.
